We loved reading about this couple's sweet story and you will, too! Their pics are just as sweet. We've been dying to share these lovely images with you for quite some time. So, without further ado, here ya' go. . .
And, from the bride to be:"I had been in Europe with my family for three weeks. I dropped my phone in water the night before I left the country, so I had no way to communicate with Jason while I was overseas except for Skype, which unfortunately wouldn't even connect most of the time. I missed him so much while I was gone, and apparently he missed me as well. On August 4, which is also Jason's birthday, I was scheduled to come home.
After being awake for more than 21 hours traveling, I arrived back in Phoenix at the airport. My flight came in about an hour early, so I didn't expect him to show up to get me, especially since I was phone-less and couldn't tell him I was back in the USA.
As I walked down the corridor toward baggage claim, I heard someone whistle at me. I almost passed right by Jason, who was holding a "Welcome Home, Erin!" sign! As I walked closer to him he flipped over the sign. It read, "Will you marry me?"
I dropped my bags and wrapped my arms around him before he could even get down on one knee! He had a limo and champagne waiting on us outside to take us home.
Our wedding will be on February 22, 2014 in Hot Springs.
p.s. Oh, I guess I can also include that we were high school sweethearts in Camden, Arkansas, broke up, and then reunited after bumping in to one another without knowing we were both living in the same city! :)"
Erin Nipper and Jason Nickerson will be tying the knot in just a few weeks! We wish them so much happiness.
Special thanks to Hudson Photography for sharing his work with us. We always love showing off Jason's work with y'all. He's kind of a master with light and his images are perfectly edited, in our ever so humble opinion.
Make today count, y'all. Till tomorrow. . .
XOXO,
Deborah
