Arkansas Engagement: Kelsi + Richard

We have so many creative brides who really pour their energy into creating a unique experience for their wedding guests; but, today's bride to be has taken it to another lovely level. . . creating an engagement session fit for a queen and her sweet fiance.  Richard Flinn and Kelsi Ford have a fun story (you can read about them below) and by partnering with Melissa McCrotty Photography, had an equally as fun engagement session!  Enjoy!





























And so according to the couple's photographer Melissa McCrotty, the story of Kelsi and Richard goes a little something like this. . .
 
Richard lived next to Kelsi's Nanna, and Nanna just knew they would be a great match, but Kelsi didn't pay attention to her pointed comments.  Finally, in a sad turn of events (the death of Kelsi's grandfather) the two did finally meet.  Richard was smitten almost immediately, and made the mistake of letting Kelsi know just how smitten he was.  He asked for a date, and she, quite literally, shut the door in his face (it had been a hard day!)  Thankfully, Richard was persistent, and though his job was about to take him out of the state, he began calling Kelsi, and the distance served as a buffer.  She began to let down her guard, and a friendship developed.  After months of calls, Richard finally talked her into that first date, and later, into saying yes to that all important question! 

So here we are today and now these two are tying the knot on October 12, 2013.  We are beyond excited for the soon to be Flinns and thank Melissa McCrotty Photography for sharing this insight!  Now, go and have a wonderful weekend y'all!

Arkansas Bride: Christina Santini Jones

Oh my goodness gracious!  We had THE hardest time editing thru all the images KB McElmurry Photography sent us of this stunning bride.  We wish we could have shared each and every pic.  Christina and her beau have been quite the TWP stars as of late and we're crossing our fingers that we can share their wedding pics with you soon.  You can see both (yep!!!) of their engagement sessionshere and here. As much as we loved their first e-sesh we can def see why they wanted the fun, artsy chalk portraits.  Soooo cute!

Kayla and Chris with KB McElmurry Photography are responsible for ALL of these portrait sessions.  Here's what they had to say about shooting Christina's bridals:
"Christina Santini is marrying Mark Jones May 26th at the Statehouse Convention Center. They are having a modern Asian themed wedding so we wanted to incorporate that into her bridals. Christina wanted a place that had pretty architecture and a field with bright green grass to contrast against her white dress. Kayla and Christina went location scouting and found some great places in downtown Little Rock, including The Heifer Village and Clinton Library. The tall grass, Equisetum at the Heifer Village created a perfect Asian themed backdrop and Christina will also have some of the plant in her bouquet."

And, how about that bouquet?!!  Oh my goodness!  Tanarah's (Tanarah Luxe Floral and Event Design) creations knock our socks off every single time!  Perfection.

April 27, 2013 was a great day, y'all!  Janessa Carlton and Kyle Kleffman, both of Green Forest, Arkansas, said their "I Do's" amongst family and friends at Integrity Hills in Branson, Missouri.  Michele Graves Photography was on hand to provide us with this front row look into their big day!

Seriously?!!  Could these pics be ANY more beautiful?  We simply could not love these bridal portraits any more than we do.  So, so very pretty!

Donnally Campbell and J.R. Davis became husband and wife June 22, 2013 in Mena, AR.  We've already heard through the grapevine that the wedding pretty much defined fabulosity.  Yep!  Hoping to get those pics for y'all.  Fingers crossed!

Congratulations, Mr. and Mrs. Davis!  May God grant your marriage with many years filled to the brim with love and laughter.  Yay, yay!!!

We were tickled TWP pink when we saw this submission by Hudson Photography in our inbox!  I'm sure you'll agree with us that it's simply beyond pretty.  :)  

Leah Wright and Will Brehm became husband and wife May 4, 2013 at St. Andrew Cathedral in Little Rock with a magnificent reception to follow at the Women's City Club.

Monday is full of merriment today!  Stephanie Parsley Photography is treating us today an adorable wedding straight from Fort Smith, Arkansas.  On April 27, 2013 these two cuties were married!  Cory Putman, the lead singer for the high profile band Norma Jean and Rachel Rodemann is a photojournalist for the Times Record.  It was a wonderful day had by all. . .

































Perfect for this ultra cool couple!  Stephanie Parsley Photography rocked our socks off and Fort Smith Museum of History made for an ideal backdrop.  Makeup was done by Danielle Green with Face Your Day Studios!  Love, love, love!!!

Who doesn't long for a beach trip this time of year?  To most of us Southerners, the sights and sounds of crashing waves and the soft touch of that sugar white sand tickling our tootsies seem to magically revitalize our souls.  So, needless to say our hearts skip a beat or two whenever we get a chance to share a wedding from the Emerald Coast with y'all.  We liked this one so much we decided to break it into 3 wonderful posts. Matt Brozak and Beck Gibson exchanged vows April 13, 2013. You may remember their engagement session from this past January.  Just darling!

Happy Thursday, Happy 4th!!!  Happy, happy to share this darlin' e-sesh with y'all.  Just look how adorable. . .
Pretty presh, right?!  These two lovebirds are Aleece Overturf and Zak Kelley.  They met at Harding University's HUT missions training program.  Zak proposed there, too so it was the obvious location choice for their engagement pics.  We couldn't adore them more!

Aleece and Zak are planning an August 1, 2013 wedding.  TWP wishes them all the best!
