Now, who is this dashingly good-looking pair you might ask? Well these two are Lauren Pond and Patrick Ferguson. Lovely Lauren is an Arkansas native who currently resides in Oxford, Mississippi with her beau and beautiful goldens (you'll fall in love with them below)! Lauren (who I absolutely adore!!!) and Patrick are tying the knot on June 19, 2014 in Taylor, Mississippi at the Southern Living Home in Plein Air. Knowing this precious person, I know that it will be full of fabulous food and good ole Southern flair.

We finally have a bit of relief from the rain and I can think of no better way to celebrate than with this beautiful wedding day captured by Danielle Davis Photography! Karrie Brondell and Flint Walker, both busy med school students, secured a sunny Spring day to celebrate their "I Do's"! Naked Cakes? Yes, please.
As much as we love a big ole fancy, shmancy wedding with no holes barred, we will always and forever be fans of the sweet and simple soiree. Which is exactly why we're loving the new 'naked' cake trend. While fondant rules the formal cake world, the naked cake is the queen of the simple. Less you mistaken simple for plain, take a gander at these delicacies and you'll see why we adore them so. . .

The Doctors Meadors!
Hi everyone! I'm back, a new resident doctor now living in Dallas and most importantly, MARRIED! While the weeks after the wedding were beyond busy with our honeymoon and move, I wanted to give you all an update from the newly wed Doctors Meadors!
May 10th was the most remarkable day! We had the most fabulous wedding and were so blessed and honored to be surrounded by our closest friends and family. Steven and I had the most fun day of our entire lives and made memories we will never forget!! The next day (after a few minor flight hiccups) we hopped a plane to our honeymoon destination in Mexico: The Excellence at Playa Mujeres! It was truly the best vacation EVER!!! Several of our close friends have also been there and highly recommended it, so we gave it a try and are happy to report that we had the most relaxing and special week. We'd go back in a heartbeat!
We did have to rush home to attend our Medical School Graduation (...and actually missed our Honors Convocation--oopsie!) so we were fortunate to get another memorable weekend surrounded by proud family members and friends. The next day we packed up our lives in Little Rock and headed for our new home for the next few years. . .Dallas, Texas!
I cannot wait to share our beautiful wedding photos and my oh-so-special bridals with each of you, so please stay tuned!
